Marius van den Brink

Born and raised in the countryside of the Netherlands, Marius decided at a young age that he wanted to become a professional pianist. He received his Bachelors and Master’s of Music in the Netherlands. During this time, he was nominated for the National Conservatory Talent Award, and became a member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.

In May 2019, Marius received his second Master’s of Music in New York where he is still living and working as a fulltime musician. Marius is a member of the New York Gypsy All Stars, the Stendhal Syndrom trio and the Marius van den Brink trio. He has performed with well-known J Jazz and world artists around the world including Ingrid Jensen, the Metropole Orchestra, Ara Dinkjjan, the Birdland Bigband, Eric Vloeimans and Roland Vazquez. As a performer, Marius has played at music festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival (Rotterdam), Birdland Jazz Club (NYC), The Musikverein (Vienna), GroundUp Festival (Miami), The Half Note Jazz Club (Athens) and the Bimhuis (Amsterdam).
